About Me

I've lived on the west coast of Canada growing up and was lured to the east coast because of fashion. I earned my fashion degree at Ryerson University and my designs have taken me to competitions in Shanghai to the runway stage at the Louvre in Paris. 

After graduating, I worked as as in-house designer for a few fashion companies, designing ladies wear for a Canadian fashion company and loungewear for a small private label.

In 2009, the Love at First Blush blog was born as a creative outlet where future ideas could start to take shape. I started creating accessories from the inspiration I collected on the blog, crafting them on weekends and weeknights in my studio bedroom, and then, after much debate, posting them online. Fast forward to present day and I now work on my line of jewelry full-time.

I never dreamed that this would happen, but I'm a solid believer that if you are passionate about what you do, it is possible to do what you love.
